Day #3651 (Sat., Jan. 4, 2020) – Katie Is 10 Today
Katie is 10 years old today! We are celebrating her birthday with her friends at our house and some of them will sleep over this evening. The theme of the party is “Harry Potter”.
I went to Sam’s Club for pizzas just before noon. We were planning to get only cheese pizza, but Dylan requested pepparoni. My wife also made “Dole Whip” via the mix we bought in our new ice cream machine.
I think that Ginger loved the party more than anyone. She was in the midst of a bunch of kids being patted. I named her “Gingeropatra”, Dog Queen Of Egypt.

Most of the evening was spent on the green screen video play that the kids created. Katie was Hermoine, Dylan was Harry Potter, and Natasha was the director.
As the kids watched one of the Harry Potter movies this evening I handed out cups of jelly beans (the assortment that you get from Trader Joe’s) and potato chips.
