Day #3659 (Sun., Jan. 12, 2020) – Carolina Meadows

Katie had a piano concert at the retirement home Carolina Meadows this afternoon (see photo to the left). She did wonderful. My wife has the flu so I took her.

What a great place Carolina Meadows is. They have a great restaurant and a pub. I would love to retire here one day, but I sure don’t have the money. You need $250,000 to just get in the door.

Sophi did horrible today. She used to be more advanced at piano than Katie. I think she just didn’t take it seriously and didn’t practice as a result. Her parents left soon after her performance.

After the recital I took Katie to the garage near Jordan Lake for a strawberry shortcake ice cream. We swung by the toy store “Ali Cat Toys” to spend the $40 gift certificate that Arnesa gave Katie for her birthday, but it was closed.

I’m noticing that Bobby wants to spend more and more time with me as he gets older. He wants that “male” bonding time.
