Day #3669 (Wed., Jan. 22, 2020) – Katie Gets Braces
Bobby is home sick with the flu and today is a real busy day. Both my wife and I are home too, trying to juggle all the activities with both kids.
I had a dentist appointment at 9:30 am (no cavities). I rushed home so that I could take care of Bobby while my wife went to Katie’s school to see her get a Gatorific Award.
I put Bobby to bed (I coaxed him there by reading him a Dr. Seuss Book “Hop On Pop”) and my wife was soon off again to get Katie and take her to her braces appointment (see photo to the right). She got “rainbow” color braces.
Ayra and Claudia have the flu as well now.
Katie had a hard time sleeping this evening as the braces were hard to get used to. She is also excited to be able to show them tomorrow to her friends at school.
