Day #3684 (Thu., Feb. 6, 2020) – The Brave Little Toaster

I was planning on taking Bobby to preschool this morning but he overslept so I decided to keep him home one more day. One more day won’t hurt…maybe he is not 100% yet if he still needs all this sleep.

This morning I made vanilla muffins with sunflower seeds and raisins (see photo to the left).

I played the “one word” game with the kids this morning to determine what to watch on YouTube. Of course Katie chose “horse” so I asked her to choose another. Bobby chose “rider”. I had just finished making toast, so “toaster” was my word. We put “toaster rider cartoon” into YouTube and up comes “The Brave Little Toaster” cartoon. The kids watched that as they munched on the vanilla muffins I made.

I showed the kids the “Bananas in Pajamas” on YouTube. Bobby expecially liked it.

Once I put Bobby to bed for his afternoon nap Katie and I cleaned up the living room and kitchen. I was lecturing her that one of the keys in life is being able to answer the question “How can I get this done and enjoy doing it?”. Your mind will try to find an answer.

I was going to pick my wife up at the airport this evening, but it was raining and I was more concerned that if her flight got delayed what would I do with the kids in the van? Bobby was all over Katie today and it would only get worse in the van. My wife took a taxi from the airport so problem solved.
