Day #3712 (Thu., Mar. 5, 2020) – Visiting Graham’s House

My wife has pink eye so she is working from home today. I took Bobby to preschool and then to Trader Joe’s for supplies as we were out of milk. It’s “M” letter today so Bobby took a Lego motorcycle and some coins (i.e.: money) for “Show & Share”.

After picking Bobby up from preschool Graham’s grandma invited us over to their house. Bobby was excited that he finally got a chance to go to Graham’s house. They live in a communal type of housing development with a common area. We got to see where they keep their chickens and the common kitchen house. The kids enjoyed playing in the playground. I got to meet Graham’s grandfather (a bit on the quiet side). We left for home around 3 pm.

This evening I went to Walmart to get some gifts for Bobby out of the money that Thomas, my wife’s brother sent us for presents. I picked up a small gun for Bobby (see photo to the right) and a Lego Transport Truck & Helicopter set.

I am not 100% excited about Bobby having a gun, as I think he might be a bit too young, but it cost under $5 and I can modify the darts if they are not safe enough. I gave the gun to Bobby tonight and Katie and he played with it for a while. It was easier to get him to bed this evening as he could take his new gun with him.
