Day #3715 (Sun., Mar. 8, 2020) – Cherry Garcia
I decided that I would take Katie out for Daddy/Daughter Day #91 this afternoon. I have been telling her how great “Cherry Garcia” ice cream is. Since it’s Friday I got free parking behind the former “Spanky’s” on Franklin Street. From there we walked across the street to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream parlor.
We got two scoops of Cherry Garcia ice cream (albeit large) and it cost us $15 (see photo to the left). Not exactly cheap ice cream. At any rate, Katie said that it was a toss up if this or the Strawberry Shortcake bars that I get her are her favorite. The music was kind of strange…Katie mentioned it so I know it must not be me. Why places like this can’t play music that everyone would enjoy I will never know…
This afternoon I played Legos with Bobby. There were some $1 Lego kits from the Dollar Store lying around so he and I built a Police ATV.
Katie found the “Hungry Hungry Hippos” game in the basement. We played that for a bit till it was time for bed. Those little marbles all over the floor…great…
