Day #3725 (Wed., Mar. 18, 2020) – Over To Guenther’s

I had to mail a letter so I took a drive around Chapel Hill. I used a mailbox so I didn’t need to go inside and see any people. I opened the mailbox door with a tissue, and then threw the tissue away afterward. I used hand sanitizer once I got back into the car.

When I got home Bobby was over at Guenther’s place. I called him home. He was doing the “huffing and puffing” that his teachers at school told them to do when they are frustrated. It’s hard on the kids to not have play dates, but they have to learn how important it is to keep your distance in this day and age.

My wife gave Bobby the “Glow” racetrack that I picked up on sale at Wal-Mart a year or so ago (see photo to the left). The idea was that we would give it to Bobby’s friends when he got invited over to birthday parties. Well, they were few and far between. Katie was invited to a ton of birthdays when she was Bobby’s age. Maybe it’s a “boy” thing…

I happened to come across a picture of me with my head cast on when I broke my collar bone. The date on the picture says I was roughly 3 1/2 years old when this happened. It’s great that they were able to print the date on those pictures way back then. One thing I definitely miss…
