Day #3739 (Wed., Apr. 1, 2020) – April Fool’s Day
It’s April Fools Day. The kids met me at the door when I woke up this morning saying that mom had the coronavirus and was in the hospital. I replied “Oh, is it April Fool’s Day already”? 🙂 The kids were a bit up set, so maybe I should have played along…
Katie and Bobby made a Lego “Kitchen” today (see photo to the left).
We have been playing a game as of late. I will put Bobby’s sea otter into his pj’s and he will try to run and touch Katie before Maple catches him. He usually loses, but today I hid the otter under his pj shirt as well so Maple couldn’t see it. Bobby won!
I made some “mushroom rice” via the Instant Pot this morning. I cooked a cup of rice and then put one of TJ’s mushroom soup in it afterwards. Delish! Simple and easy as well.
Katie has been complaining of having a video dance class every day, so we are going to “lay off it” for a bit.
The kids wanted a grilled cheese sandwich today, but we are out of shredded cheese. I therefore made them out of string cheese. The kids still loved it.
