Day #262 (Wed., Sept. 22, 2010) – Our Tall Little Chipmunk
5:00am – Little Katie is up and ready to face the day. I changed her and took her to mommy for some breakfast…
I was playing with little Katie on the bed this evening and she was roaring and clapping and throwing one of my wife’s dresses around. It’s amazing how vocal she is becoming. You can hear her little palms smack together as she claps her hands. She gets fussy when she wants something and you won’t give it to her. Suddenly her 18 month old outfits got too tight (she is a tall baby)! She is gradually growing up before our very eyes.
When little Katie is on our bed there are various toys that she enjoys playing with. She seems to be particularly fond of those things that are not really meant to be toys. For example, take a look at the photo to the left. Two markers, right? Well, in the eyes of our little chipmunk they are tasty treats (with the tops on of course) to suck and drool on. Yum!!!
There is another consignment sale downtown this Saturday. The current plans are that my wife will attend and I will take care of little Katie. It’s so much easier to take care of her now that she will eat yogurt. Nothing to heat up or prepare. Just peel the lid off and enjoy…
