Day #266 (Sun., Sept. 26, 2010) – The New Baby Seat
I let my wife sleep late this morning…little Katie and I played in the playyard.
Once my wife got up I took little Katie for a stroll around the lake. A brunette lady with a corgi dog said “Hi Katie”. She obviously met my wife on a previous stroll.
I went for a grocery & diaper run this morning. At Target I picked up some #3 diapers and found a new set of spoons (see photo to the left) for little Katie. I debated on whether I should get them or not, but in the end I decided I would. 6 for $2.99. They have deeper scoops so they will be able to hold more foods that are “liquidy”. I soon found out that little Katie loves to munch on them (probably due to her teething).
We had another Skype session with my mother this afternoon. She got to see some of little Katie’s new toys.
I put the new car seat in my wife’s car this afternoon. Little Katie has outgrown the other baby seat so we will have to accommodate her…
Little Katie was sitting on the bed this evening and the Beatles came on the television. They were playing “And I Love Her” and little Katie was mesmerized. She started to fuss as soon as they were done playing…
My wife was feeding little Katie this evening and asked “Where’s daddy?” Little Katie looked at me. We’re wondering if she understands the concept of daddy?
