Day #3924 (Sat., Oct. 3, 2020) – New Drive In
The kids and I had a flu shot this morning at my doctor’s office. Fortunately we could get it at a booth outside the building rather than having to go inside. My wife had her flu shot last week.
After getting flu shots we decided to drive around a bit. We saw the new apartments that they have set up across from Lloyd’s Tire. I bet that they are hurting now that UNC has been closed down. The probably were banking on having a lot of students.
We also drove to the Chick-Fil-A on MLK to see where they are going to have the new drive in later on this month. Katie got very excited to see geese in the field. The kids got out and ran around a bit. Bobby especially really enjoyed having a new place to run around and explore.
President Trump was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital this evening.
I put the purple blanket on Maple when she was sleeping and she didn’t move a bit. Not even to throw the part of the blanket that was covering her head. She saw some deer in the driveway later this evening and didn’t even bark at them…
