Day #273 (Sun., Oct. 3, 2010) – Organic “Bandana” Yogurt

My wife and I went out for lunch at noon today. There is this great little Turkish Restaurant down the street that we like. Little Katie got to sit in a high chair again. The photo to the left shows the little insert that our friends in Charlotte gave us. It makes the whole dining experience a bit more comfortable and safe for little Katie. It sits on the high chair and straps in place.
My wife went for a nap this afternoon so I was on “baby duty”. Little Katie would not sleep so I picked her up from the crib and gave her some “Organic Banana Yogurt”. I said “organic bandana” and she thought that was very funny. She would laugh and laugh. She had a great #2 so I thought that would calm her down but “no luck”. She was making so much noise that I had to pick her up again. I was talking to my mother via phone all the time so she got to hear little Katie…but no Skype. Perhaps we will have time to do a Skype later today.
I tried to put the child-proof gate on the top of our stairs this evening but it was not to be. There was just not enough space to screw the support clamps into place. I will have to take the top of the moulding off to accommodate them. That’s a job for next weekend…
Little Katie had quite the exciting day. She got up at 1pm and went to bed at 8:15pm. We tried to put her to bed since 4:30pm but she had a different agenda. The world is such an exciting place for a little chipmunk. What a waste of time sleeping is…
