Day #4006 (Thu., Dec. 24, 2020) – Christmas Eve

I tried to call Norad via the phone, but nobody answered. Could it be due to COVID-19…nobody manning the phones this year? No problem… We were able to call Norad via Alexa…technology to the rescue.

The kids and I watched “Home Alone” on the television in the bedroom this afternoon, effectively Daddy/Daughter Day #100 and Daddy/Son Day #30. This is the first time the kids saw it. Bobby liked all the antics. I made popcorn and the kids enjoyed the “Kettlecorn Seasoning”.

Bobby and I finished off the last LEGO Star Wars Advent Character today. My wife and I were saying how it was a great gift. Although expensive, Bobby and I got to play with a bit of it here and there for the whole month.

We put out cookies and milk for Santa this evening. My wife had a mix that you just need to cut and bake. This year we put them on the fireplace (see photo to the right).
