Today I pushed Bobby the highest he has ever gone on the swing (see photo to the left).
Bobby’s teacher complimented him in class today. She said that he was writing like a first grader.
The kids and I watched a video on YouTube this evening where someone was restoring metal Tonka toys from the 60’s. I told the kids that that’s how toys were made years ago, before the days of plastic. I also told them that my father told me to not play with my toys in the mud as they would be worth something one day. I didn’t listen, and they are.
As I was passing Katie in the hallway this evening I told her how middle school boys in Canada would push other boys into the wall when they met them in the hallways at school (pretending to body check them in hockey). She said that boys are strange.
