Day #4102 (Tue., Mar. 30, 2021) – The Last Shaman
I had Daddy/Daughter Day #104 with Katie this afternoon. There is a problem with finding movies that both kids like, so I’m going to try to watch a more “age appropriate” movie with each kid.
Today Katie and I watched “The Last Shaman” on Netflix. It’s about a boy who has depression, and drugs and therapy doesn’t seem to work. He travels to South America to find a “Shaman” to help him. In the end, he decides that it is “within himself” to be either happy for not. I think it was more seeing the people down there and how they interacted with each other, more than the drugs, that helped him out.
