My wife asked me to put this into the blog:
Dear Families,
Thank you to the kind person who sent us stationery! Ms. Towne was surprised at the mystery package and the kids have been very excited to write on the pretty paper and envelopes. That was so nice, mystery sender! Thank you!
Best wishes,
Irene Xia
Bobby had another gym class this morning. In the past we have been moving the rowing machine to give him room. We have found that we just need to have him move a bit closer to the television. Problem solved!
I took the orange outer layer of the rope that I took down from the swing yesterday. I was a bit concerned that the cords inside seemed compressed, but when I took it apart I could see that all the strings were intact. The compression is caused because this was the area of the rope that was situated directly over the tree branch.
Bobby has been playing around with some animation software (see photo to the left).
I started to fix my guitars in the living room this evening as I watched television. I see that one of the “ferrules” on the Telecaster is missing, so I need to get one of those before I can put on new Ernie Ball Slinky guitar strings. The electronics on my Australian Strat are all shot, so I ordered some new components and a soldering iron via Amazon this evening.
