Day #4153 (Thu., May 20, 2021) – The Word “Certain”

The kids did a couple of drawings I wanted to share with you. The drawing at the top (see photo to the right) is of “Mousey”, Katie’s creation. Bobby draw the picture directly below it. I didn’t ask him who it was, but it appears to be some sort of a robot or Ninja warrior with a flag on it’s head.

I was talking to my wife about how it would be great to have a video game that incorporates all the lessons that the kids are learning at school. As Elon Musk says, who has to ask their kids to play video games… She mentioned “Animal Crossing”, which apparently has some of these elements. It looks like this game only plays on the Nintendo Switch. Do we really need another computer or tablet in this house?

Bobby wanted me to sleep with him this evening. She showed me one of his RazzKids lessons. He reads the story and records it on the tablet. Today’s lesson was about Martial Arts in Japan. They even discussed the various belts. He asked me what the word “certain” meant. I told him that all of these Martial Arts derived from Kung Fu and came from China.
