Day #4164 (Mon., May 31, 2021) – Programming Roblox Studio

The photo to the left shows a liquor store that was burning out of control at Orlando and 3rd in Los Angeles due to the riots over George Floyd’s death. The photo at the very bottom shows the liquor store today. It has closed and is boarded up. No more liquor from this location.

Katie had her first class on programming Roblox studio this afternoon. Bobby and I sat in on it to get “the gist” of it. We soon left, but it’s pretty much what I thought. Using an object-oriented language to change the attributes of objects through code. After class Katie said that it was a bit difficult for her so I will sit down with her and try to explain the whole process a bit more. I guess there is video available of the whole class.

This afternoon, while Katie was still in class, Bobby, my wife, Maple and I went for a walk to the end of our neighborhood and back. I got a chance to try out my new KoreTrakPro fitness watch. It’s a good watch, and it has an odometer to measure your steps, but the display is a bit small for me. That’s one thing I never had to worry about when I was younger, seeing small letters on signs (and watches).
