Day #4165 (Tue., Jun 1, 2021) – 2nd iPad
We now have a neighborhood library box (see photo to the left). Brian made it and Helen painted it.
We received a second iPad in the mail today. Now both Katie and Bobby will have one. This has been a point of contention in the past as they all want to play on the iPad because of the bigger screen. Now they will each have an iPad that they can load up with their games and customize as they want. It also frees up my wife’s phone as when one was playing on the iPad the other was using her phone.
My wife had a nap this afternoon so Katie, Bobby, and I went for a walk to the end of the neighborhood and back. We took the dogs with us, but Ginger got unruly towards the end of the walk so we let her off the leash.
I found the boxes in the basement that contain all my old tax documents. As it’s been over 20 years, it’s time to shred them. We will enlist the kids to do this. Shredding helps Bobby unleash some of his little boy “destroy” energy.
