Day #15 (Mon., Jan. 18, 2010) – Baby’s First Stroll
Just after midnight. It’s been a rough night. My wife and I wanted to go to bed early last night, but little Katie had other ideas. She slept a lot yesterday and now it was “time to play”.
9:00am – Little Katie finally settled down and let us go to bed around 12:30am…
It was a beautiful day, so little Katie got her first chance to ride in a stroller. I had to dig it out from our garage and assemble it, but that didn’t take too long. It was a very nice sunny day, and my wife and I pushed Katie up and down the quiet streets in our neighborhood for about 20 minutes. Katie initially started to cry as the sun was in her eyes, but once I adjusted the visor on the stroller, she just sat back, relaxed, and fell asleep. I think the nice fresh air did wonders for her.
7:45pm – I was studying in the living room and my wife brought little Katie out of the bedroom to see daddy. I cuddled her for a bit, but she was hungry and soon the “rafters rang”. Back to the bedroom for little Katie…dinner is served!
