Day #4169 (Sat., Jun 5, 2021) – Basket Chair Hammocks
My wife had online Chinese class with Katie this afternoon, so I decided that I would take Bobby out for Daddy/Son Day #37.
We started off by getting lunch at Chick-Fil-A. I got the kids meal with nuggets and a lemonade for Bobby, but what he really wanted was the waffle fries. He talked about the waffle fries the whole while we were queued up to get our food.
After eating in the car we drove to the nearby apartment complex that just opened for a bit of a walk. I wanted to try out my new Yamay Smart Watch, which I received yesterday. We passed the drive-in theater on the way.
I forgot how hot it was mid-day, so the walk was a brief one. Bobby really liked relaxing in the basket chairs near their pool (see photo to the right).
On the way home we stopped off at Chick-Fil-A again. This time, we got a cobb salad with avocado dressing for my wife, and a kids meal for Katie. Oh, and we got two ice creams as well. One for Katie, and Bobby ate his in the car on the way home.
I made a mistake in having Bobby take Katie’s home inside for her. He ended up eating some of her waffle fries.
When we got home we watched a bit of BattleBots on YouTube, and then played with the little transformer toys.
So much for Daddy/Son Day #37.
