Day #4171 (Mon., Jun 7, 2021) – Katie’s Graduation

Katie’s graduation from Glenwood was this morning (see photo to the right).  As she could only have two guests, my wife took her while I stayed home and tended to Bobby.  The teachers gave the students their diploma and a little “gift bag” with letters and notes with their overall thoughts and views and opinions of Katie over the years.  They were so lovely and complimentary that they made my wife cry.

Back on the home front, I attended two classes with Bobby.  He’s pretty much capable of knowing what he has to do, so we just need to set up an Alexa alarm so that he knows when to turn on the school tablet for the online session.

We got the kids smart watches as graduation gifts.  Katie got a watermelon colored Fitbit, something that she has been asking about for quite a while now.

I went for a dip in the Clark Pool in Carrboro at 6pm this evening.  You need a reservation, and they are still limiting the number of people who can be in the pool due to COVID-19.  It’s been almost two years since we were last there for a swim.
