Day #4180 (Wed., Jun 16, 2021) – Six Tubs Of Yogurt

The photo to the left shows an activity book that we purchased for the kids courtesy of Amazon. You can build various outdoor projects ranging from a wormery, a bottle rocket, a compass, some huge bubbles, and even make your own ice cream. The idea is that Katie will take the lead and help Bobby along, but we may already be losing the “iPad & Roblox” battle. With computers around other things seem to fall into the “other” category…

We got a note that they now have enough kids, so Synthesis School for Katie at 11 am on Saturday mornings is a “go”.

The kids coaxed my wife into going into the pool this afternoon. My wife wanted Katie to check it out and make sure it was warm. She said it was. It was cloudy all day… It wasn’t.

I put Bobby to bed this evening. He finished off six small tubs of Trader Joe’s yogurt before I started reading to him from his Zombie book. Giving them the option of “eating and playing” is not working. Bobby will play, not eat, and gorge on “whatever” just before he goes to bed. It looks like we will have to have the kids eat dinner and let them play on the computer after they are done eating.
