Day #4213 (Mon., Jul 19, 2021) – Rainy Day
I have been going over the footage of my 8mm tapes. I was able to find the location of the Bloomsbury Park Hotel and match it up with an entry on Google Maps (see photo to the right).
It was a rather rainy day today. Cloudy and overcast. I was tired most of the day…I think that the weather is starting to affect me more, just like it used to affect my father when he got older. I can no longer handle the hot days. I remember how my father used to look for a cool basement to crawl into when the weather got too hot in mid-day summer.
I made some cauliflower crust cheese pizza for the kids for lunch today. I made sure not to tell them that it had a cauliflower crust. They both said that they liked it. I wonder if they would have liked it if I had told them beforehand?
The kids didn’t do much but play online today. It will be really nice once they are able to go back to school. Having a structure where their friends are doing activities like playing an instrument or sports will be a great motivator for them to spend time away from the online world. At least that is our hope…
I made some caramel pudding for the kids this evening. They really liked it.
