Day #4214 (Tue., Jul 20, 2021) – Jeff Bezos In Space!
Jeff Bezos went to space at 9 am this morning via his “Blue Origin” rocket (see photo to the left). There were three other people with him, but two empty seats? I wonder why they didn’t give these seats to some underprivileged kids or first responders or something… I would have been a media bonanza!
We are out of Nutella so I decided to go to Harris-Teeter this afternoon. Along with Nutella, I got some tasty treats for the kids. Donuts (two strawberry ones), fudgesicles, and some “Fruit Loop” like cereal that Katie loves. I told Katie and Bobby that they could each have a donut if they helped me bring in the groceries.
When I got home I realized that we were out of milk, so off to Trader Joe’s I went. Trader Joe’s has the best deal on milk around. I’m not sure why Harris-Teeter and other grocery stores sell organic milk at such a high price? You would think that they would sell it at cost to get people into the store to by all their other groceries.
The neighbors are in the process of building a wooden fence for their dog. Let’s hope it works better than ours… There is a space in our fence that Ginger and Maple can go out of.
