Day #4225 (Sat., Jul 31, 2021) – Bobby Hates Berries
I had a dip in the pool this afternoon. We had fun trying to stay on the various floats, and even played a quick game of Marco Polo.
After the pool, the kids were cleaning off in the tub and I made them a special dessert “concoction” that I came up with the other day. Nothing special, but it sure was delicious. Equal parts oatmeal and vanilla protein powder, a banana, and some frozen berries. Microwave for 5 minutes. Serve with a dollop of Cool Whip and some sprinkles, and voila (see photo to the left). Katie loved it. Bobby said that he loved it except for the berries. I’m not sure why, but Bobby doesn’t like berries.
We are almost out of milk. For some reason, Katie will put the empty carton back in the fridge even when it is empty.
