Day #4229 (Wed., Aug. 4, 2021) – Feeding The Chickens
In many ways we are worse off now than we were last year at this time. We have the vaccine now, which is true, but Delta is as transmissible as chicken pox, and even with the vaccine we have recently learned that we can spread the virus to others.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is coming up this weekend… What a “Super Spreader Event” this is going to be. They are expecting about 700,000 people, more than last year. They were able to trace and see how much the virus was spread last year when the bikers returned home…
My wife went to Arnesa’s house this afternoon to drop off some boxes.
Our neighbors are gone to Utah this week, so we are taking care of Ginger. Her hind leg is really sore…she barely puts any weight on it anymore.
We got a message from Steve, our neighbor. He forgot to feed the chickens, so Katie and Bobby went next door with my wife to feed them (see photo to the left).
