Day #4280 (Fri., Sept. 24, 2021) – Rock Homework

I helped Bobby with his homework this morning. He was to choose two gemstones (see photo to the right) and compare them. The assignment said to use “words that the teacher discussed with them”, but Bobby didn’t remember those, so we made up our own words. We compared the size, shape, feel, and other characteristics. I told Bobby that you could say one was “blue” and the other “red”. I also said that you could say that they were both “hard”.

I’m starting to look at the various old photos that I have in my albums. I could create a slideshow video like Ken Burns does on his documentaries. I found an old photo of the Valley-Kemptown Volunteer Fire Station being built.
