Day #4296 (Sun., Oct. 10, 2021) – Viola Plans

I was talking to Katie about how some of the happiest times of my life were playing in bands. When I mentioned this to Katie, she expressed an interest in learning the viola again. Well, if this is to be, we need to get a teacher for her so that she will be up to speed next year once she starts attending full-time in-person classes and can join the orchestra. We will try to find a viola that she can rent for the time-being.

The photo to the rights shows the glue that we ordered from Amazon. Amazingly enough, the huge gallon glue costs about the same as the small bottle of Elmer’s glue. Go figure… We need this to glue all the small cardboard boxes together to make Bobby’s Advent Calendar.

We’re thinking of having a family movie night for Halloween this year. We’ll probably watch one of the comedy-horror youth movies that the kids seem to enjoy so much. We had better get our Halloween candy early as there is a lot of talk about toys and such not arriving due to the trucker shortage of bringing goods from Los Angeles to the rest of the country.
