Day #4299 (Wed., Oct. 13, 2021) – First Viola Lesson
My wife drove the kids to Durham this afternoon to pick up Katie’s new viola at the store. They had no problems bringing it out to the van rather than us having to go into the store. We will be renting the viola as Katie is still growing. If she wants to purchase one when she gets older, we will be able to use these rental payments on the purchased viola.
Maple had her first viola lesson this afternoon (see photo to the left). The viola needs tuning, but the teacher wanted to get Katie acquainted with the viola rather than spend time tuning it. My wife chose this particular teacher because she is young and actually composes songs. Maybe Katie will pick up some pointers on music composition as well.
Bobby has another loose tooth today. He showed me how it wiggles back and forth.
