We picked up a sponge for Bobby’s violin today (see photo to the left). This is needed because it is hard on a child’s shoulder to hoist up the violin onto it. The teacher met my wife on her porch dressed in PJ’s and a robe.
We are finished the book on the Olympics. The “Titanic” book is next. I took this opportunity to tell Bobby that many of the people who died on the Titanic were buried in Halifax, which is the capital of Nova Scotia. We also talked about how it was named after the “Titan” gods, and how “A Night To Be Remembered” was a famous book written on the subject.
Katie had another drawing class this evening. We’re so happy that she was able to continue on with this class. She actually fought for it when the teacher suggested she take a class in which she could learn more of the basics. Her drawing is really coming along, and she loves it, which is probably more important. If you love something you will continue to do it.
