Day #4313 (Wed., Oct. 27, 2021) – The Swing Is Up
With the help of the car I managed to put the swing up this afternoon. The new nylon sleeve is snugly in place over the rope (see photo to the right). Let’s hope that this provides the rope with more protection than just the bare rope alone. I will have to take it down in a month and so and check on the “wear and tear”. The kids, especially Katie, are very happy to have their swing back again.
Bobby mentioned to my wife that he wants to sleep by himself from now on. As he put it, he is a big boy now, which is true. He also mentioned that he doesn’t want the “Rainforest” music device either. He did express his desire to have a nightlight though… He would like to have a little bit of light in his room rather than having it completely dark.
