Day #4315 (Fri., Oct. 29, 2021) – McDonald’s Ice Cream
Katie is glad to be back with “Regular Hair” today.
This evening we all drove out to see the Haunted House in Briar Creek again (see photo to the right). We waited until Katie was done her drawing class at 6:45 pm.
On the way we stopped off at McDonald’s to get the kids an ice cream. When the person who took the order told me that the ice cream was working I said “yeah” and asked them to wait for the applause to die down… These McDonald’s ice cream machines are so problematic that you have to take advantage of them when they are up.
Next stop, the Haunted House… There were not as many people there as we thought. Maybe everyone was out eating on this Friday night. Bobby was dressed up in his Spiderman outfit.
On the drive home we stopped off at McDonald’s again with hopes of getting a Slushy. Well, as it turns out, they don’t sell Slushies (big surprise). Bobby got a Strawberry-Banana Smoothie, and Katie opted to have nothing.
Bobby was overtired by the time we got home this evening. He asked his mom to sleep with him one last time.
