Day #4330 (Sat., Nov. 13, 2021) – Occoneechee Mountain
My wife took the kids on a hike this morning (see photo to the right). They wanted to go to Occoneechee Mountain, but there were too many people, so they went to Gold Park in Hillsborough. On the way back there was less of a crowd, so they did manage to climb up Occoneechee Mountain after all.
People are obviously out to see the fall colors, but I heard that people are also on the road with campers and such due to the pandemic.
Katie mentioned that the fall colors were one of the most beautiful things she has ever seen. There is talk that the fall colors are especially spectacular this year.
