Day #4339 (Mon., Nov. 22, 2021) – New Rug
The kids are off school this week for Thanksgiving break.
So Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, but we’re not sure if we are going to have a turkey or not. It looks like they might be out at Aldi (along with other Thanksgiving items), so we might have to dispense. It looks like Walmart has turkeys…but we are not shopping at Walmart “yet”…
I played some more soccer with Bobby this morning once the rain stopped.
We received our new rug today (see photo to the right). It’s kind of a strange design, with black and white and grey, with some “spider webs”, but as long as it prevents me from getting more splinters in my feet, it’s a great buy as far as I’m concerned. Maple, in her “coming and goings”, has taken the finish off our dining room floor with her claws.
This evening Katie and I watched a number of YouTube videos of Mesopotamia and early civilizations. She mentioned how she loves documentaries.
