Day #4349 (Thu., Dec. 2, 2021) – Throw Blanket & Backpack
Today is Day #2 of the Advent Calendar gifts. My wife had a dentist appointment, so we waited for her to return at around 11 am before letting the kids see what was behind “Drawer #2”. The kids were so excited to see mom home (as it meant they could get their new advent gifts!).
The kids got to open up their first “large” gifts today. As some of the gifts are too big to fit into the various drawers of the advent calendars, there is a card inside with a number on it. This number corresponds with the number of a gift under the Christmas tree. Today Katie got a Genshin Impact backpack and Bobby received a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” throw blanket (see photo to the right). They were both very excited to receive their gifts.
I went to Wegman’s this afternoon for supplies. My wife wanted me to pick up some dumplings, and I got some Strawberry Shortcake and Arctic bars for the kids.
I also picked up some sushi as Katie said that she was interested in trying it. We sat at her desk and ate it together. She liked it, but not overly… I finished the tray off…
