I went to Trader Joe’s again this morning for milk. Katie loves the Frosted Flakes that we picked up the other day. Here’s the formula. “Katie Loves The Cereal” + Milk = “More Trips To Trader Joe’s For Milk”.
My wife went to UNC today to have a Christmas lunch with her co-workers. They assembled in an outdoor tent outside their offices for safety against COVID.
I sat in with Bobby during class today. He told them that he got a FNAF Pillowcase (see photo to the right) as an Advent Calendar present today.
Katie is no longer taking drawing class on Friday night. She might continue to take a drawing class once regular in-person classes begin next month.
The cases of omicron in the world is growing… Oh oh…
My wife and Katie wrote up a number of “Thank You” emails and “Gifts” to her teachers today. Here’s a list…

Dear Ms. Crosetto, Thank you for making advisory one of the best classes I’ve ever had. Your meet is a safe space for me where I can say anything. I really appreciate all the fun activities that we do in class as well as the cool polls you do at the beginning of the class to get everyone engaged. Thank you and happy holidays! Katie

Dear Ms. Carey, I really appreciate what you’ve done for me and my classmates. Despite some kids not doing the homework, you still make an effort to teach everyone and make math interesting. I am really proud to say you’ve made math my favorite subject (it used to be my least favorite!) Thank you so much and happy holidays! Katie

Dear Mr. Fisk, Thank you for making Social Studies fun to look forward to. I really appreciate all the cool things you taught us, like history and geography. I’ve learned a lot of things I didn’t know before, for example, that humans came from Africa. Thank you and happy holidays! Katie
Thank you Katie for the gift card and your very kind words!! It has been an absolute pleasure to teach you thus far and we will make sure you are absolutely prepared for going into in-person classes again. Have a wonderful break and I will see you in January!
