Day #4372 (Sat., Dec. 25, 2021) – Christmas Day
Arnesa and family were on vacation today so they did not join us in a zoom call (or in person) this Christmas. We had a quiet little Christmas with only the immediate family this year.
The kids were very excited to open up the gifts. The first gifts on the agenda were the four styrofoam boxes under the tree. Each box housed a mug, one for each of us. My wife and I each received a “Season #2” COVID mug, Katie received a Genshin Impact mug, and Bobby a “Friday Night At Freddy’s” mug.
There were a number of gifts for everyone this year. My wife and I each received a nice 3D puzzle from Arnesa. Katie received a computer pen and nail polish dryer (see photo to the left), and Bobby received a Lego set (he was happy to receive three Lego sets this Christmas).
Bobby received a green RC vehicle from Ethan Campbell and a slide projector that displays pictures of stars onto the ceiling. Brin, Bobby’s school friend, received a Minecraft account…so they will be playing together.
My wife made a nice turkey dinner and we all sat around the dining room table after opening our gifts. Bobby likes whole potatoes, never mashed, so he had some of those. Katie was not able to eat too big a meal due to her loose tooth. My wife and I had our fill.
After lunch we all retired to the living room to watch the movie “Jingle All The Way”, with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bobby, as was the case with Spiderman last night, could only sit still and watch it for a bit… He went to his room to put his Lego set together and then back to watch the movie.
