Day #4394 (Sun., Jan. 16, 2022) – Winter Weather
We woke up to quite a bit of snow/ice on the ground. Winter Weather is here!
My wife took the kids out sledding down the street in front of our house a couple of times today (see photo to the right). With my knees sledding is not an option for daddy! I did take Bobby out later in the afternoon for a snowball (or should I say slushball) fight. The mixture turned to straight cold rain so we had to come inside after a bit.
This afternoon we watched the Johnny Depp version of “Willy Wonka” on the television in the living room. The kids enjoyed munching on gummy bears. This movie is sure a dramatic departure from the 1971 original version. You can sure see the Tim Burton influence in this movie.
The kids are really enjoying the popsicles I picked up at Wegman’s yesterday. They were playing with Dylan and Cara this evening and would run back and forth from the fridge to the bedroom to pick up some more as I was watching football.
