Day #4402 (Mon., Jan. 24, 2022) – Middle School Tour
Katie had a tour at Phillips Middle School this afternoon. My wife got permission to take Bobby as well. You can see the lunch area in the photo to the left. Katie had problems tying her laces, so I helped her out.
Katie learned that the school counsellor has a couch to lie down on if she feels stressed out. She also met her social studies teacher who is very nice. Bobby opted to stay and talk her with her while Katie and her mom continued the tour.
I went to TJ’s for snacks tonight. My wife will be making lunches for the kids again, and snacks are always a welcome treat. I then went to Harris-Teeter where I picked up some small packages of chips and Lance’s crackers.
Katie has a lot to carry when she starts in-person classes tomorrow. A backpack full of books, her viola, and her lunch as well.
While my wife was putting Bobby to bed this evening he said that he was worried about going to school tomorrow. “First day jitters”… He will be fine…
