Day #4424 (Tue., Feb. 15, 2022) – Discount Candy
Bobby spent the morning creating Valentine’s Day gifts (i.e.: bracelets & notes) for his classmates (see photo to the right).
Today is such a great day to get Valentine’s Day candy. They sell it at a huge discount “the day after”. They kids are off school today and Bobby will be celebrating Valentine’s Day tomorrow when he goes back. My wife was able to get three nice heart shaped Valentine’s Day chocolate boxes at a discount at Walgreens on the way home from Viola/Violin classes.
Speaking of Viola/Violin classes, Bobby was unruly today as well. The teacher is very patient, but if he doesn’t cooperate we wonder if she will say enough is enough and refuse to teach him. We had a big talk with him this afternoon as he munched on his hot dog for lunch.
I went shopping this evening. I thought Harris-Teeter would have a lot of leftover Valentine’s Day candy, but it was not to be. I did get strawberry shortcake and popsicles for the kids though.
