Day #4426 (Thu., Feb. 17, 2022) – Old Lives Matter
I picked up Bobby at Glenwood this afternoon. While I waited in the the car I read the chapter about mountains in the “Dangerous Book For Boys”. Bobby and I discussed it on the drive home. Bobby also told me that he had strawberry parfait for school lunch, and skipped rope in gym class.
The basketball hoop from Amazon came today, but the package had holes in it, so we are going to return it to ensure that nothing fell out. They will ship us a new one.
The photo to the right shows my birthday present, and “Old Lives Matter” tumbler. I also got some velcro shoes that are easy to put on.
Katie made an appointment to see Miss Crosetto. She’s a former social worker but is currently standing in as guidance counsellor at Phillips. I’ve been encouraging her to set up an appointment to just chat, and get to know her. She will be very helpful to Katie as she navigates the waters of middle school.
