My wife drove a van full of items to the consignment sale this morning. While she was away Katie dressed up Bobby as a “cool dude” (see photo to the right). Bobby later told me that he didn’t like it much, but since Katie did, he went along with it…
I made them each a giant pretzel that I got from the freezer section of Trader Joe’s. Both kids liked them. I told Katie that they usually sell them at the State Fair and she said that she can understand why.
You can never tell how quick the milk will go. We had half a gallon yesterday afternoon, but apparently both the kids wanted Frosted Flakes, so the milk went fast after that… I made sure to get some chocolate milk, which both kids are really into these days.
Talked to Grant, the checkout guy at Trader Joe’s, about the upcoming invasion of Ukraine… He used to be a fighter pilot back in the late 80s.
