Day #4438 (Tue., Mar. 1, 2022) – Chocolate Parfait

I went to Harris-Teeter this morning to pick up some chocolate pudding for the chocolate parfait that I’m going to make Bobby.  In the end, I made one large one for him and one smaller one for Katie (to see if she likes it).  He expressed an interest in it during the drive home yesterday once I mentioned it to him.  You can see both of them in the photo to the right.

Bobby took his lunch to school today as they were having quesadillas.  He said that he likes quesadillas that have no cheese?  Isn’t that just a tortilla?

Bobby liked his chocolate parfait, but Katie did not.  She said that the chocolate tasted funny and that the yogurt did not go with is…  Bobby, on the other hand, ate most of it in two separate settings.

Cal, the new neighbor boy who is living in the house Izzy used to live in, came over to play with Bobby today.  Somehow they got into the styrofoam and made quite the mess in the front yard.

This evening Joe Biden gave the “State of the Union” address.  Katie stayed up and watched it with my wife and I and asked questions about it.

Katie is going to try having a school lunch tomorrow for the first time.
