Day #4440 (Thu., Mar. 3, 2022) – Viola/Violin Class Outside

I dropped Bobby off at school this morning. He told me that “Beatrice” is better at Freeze Tag than “David” is… She’s taller and has longer arms so she can tag people better. I asked him if anyone pretended to be injured and once people came to them to help they got tagged, he said that one person does.

At 2:40 pm this afternoon I picked up Bobby after school. For some reason they are getting later and later in letting us pick up our kids. Miss Coleman (Bobby told me that they call all the women Miss, even if they are married) is the person who usually goes down the line and lets the people with the kids know the car # so they can get that kid ready…

My wife made pizza for the kids this afternoon. This one came out nicely (see photo to the right). It is very thick, not thin crust, so Katie really likes it. It’s important that the kids eat well this afternoon as this is viola/violin day. I told Bobby on the way home the importance of paying attention. My wife said that both kids performed great. They had the session outside today, so they didn’t have to wear masks, which was great for a change.

We are in the process of planning a playdate for Katie with Nico. Her father is a doctor at Duke Hospital.
