Day #4445 (Tue., Mar. 8, 2022) – Bobby’s Birthday Gifts
Katie won the “Student of the Week” prize today at Phillips. Katie later told me that they gave her two lollipops as a reward.
I picked up Bobby at 2:30 pm, as is the norm. Today he told me that he had Doritos for lunch, but I went into a lengthy discussion with him about the difference between Doritos and Nachos. He told me that they had stuff on top, so I suspect he had Nachos.
Today was music class at Glenwood and Bobby told me that he played the drums, with cymbals… Sounds like the setup that we have at home. I know that when I was growing up they had individual drums in music class, not whole sets.
When we got home Bobby was fidgeting to get something out of his backpack. It was a cord for a cell phone or something. Bobby said that he found it on the school playground and would turn it in to lost and found tomorrow.
Time to think about Bobby’s birthday party this Friday. With Omicron still around we are going to have a quiet little party this year. The photo to the left shows the two birthday gifts we are going to give him (a battleship game and a Five Nights at Freddy card game). We’re thinking about getting Bobby an ice cream cake!
Bobby had a playdate with Cal this afternoon. They played Legos.
This evening I asked Katie how things were with Nico and she said fine. Apparently Nico wasn’t overly upset that Katie called her “Nico” rather than her given name the other day.
Katie’s clothes from China arrived today.
