Day #4449 (Sat., Mar. 12, 2022) – Skating Backwards
The kids had their Viola/Violin Class this morning. I attended so that I will be able to drive them to skating afterwards. Next week is their recital!
At the group skating class today I made sure that both kids had their skates on tight. They both learned to skate backwards today (see photo to the left). When Bobby got off the right he walked right past my wife and I. I thought he was mad, but my wife told me that he was very proud of his performance today!
I see that they are looking for a Zamboni driver at the Hillsborough SportsPlex. There are more jobs than people these days!
On the drive home we stopped off at Chick-Fil-A. My wife and I didn’t get anything so that we could save money. The kids did each have a kid’s meal thought. Bobby opted for the chocolate milk instead of lemonade.
This afternoon Bobby had a playdate with Cal, and then one with Brin (who came over to our house to play outside). Brin gave him a water bottle as a birthday gift.
This evening Dylan called Katie to play Roblox. Katie has mentioned earlier in the day that they don’t call her to play anymore, so she was happy.
