Day #4451 (Mon., Mar. 14, 2022) – Katie Exposed To COVID

I picked up Bobby at Glenwood at 2:30 pm this afternoon.  On the drive home he told me that he received two “chomps” today from Miss Lee for doing so well in Chinese class.  Chomps are little rewards that they pass out when a student does a good job.

Bobby also told me about a game called “Avocado”, which he demonstrated for me when he got home.  It’s basically a hand movement game like “Paddy Cake”…  He then settled into the sofa to watch some “Ben 10 Omniverse” and have some fries and pineapple drink.

This evening I went to Trader Joe’s for groceries.  While I was there I got a call from my wife.  She said that Katie was exposed to someone at Phillips who had tested positive for COVID-19.  We will learn more later, but for now we are going to try to seclude her to her room so that she stays away from us as much as possible.  My wife took both kids out to the front yard to practice the viola/violin as a precaution.

They have a new item at Trader Joe’s, blueberry muffin mix (see photo to the right).  My wife mixed some blueberries that she had in the fridge with the mix and were they ever good.  We will be doing this from now on…
