I drove Bobby to school this morning and we talked about St. Patrick’s Day when I was a kid. It was one of the few times that my parents left us kids alone as they went to a St. Pat’s party that Benny Goodman, a local business leader, held for business owners. The next day I was always amazed at the various “green” stuff that they brought home, like clover drink mixing sticks and hats.
I picked up Bobby again this afternoon. He told me that they had strawberry parfait today for lunch. In gym class today they played a game similar to “red light – green light”. He asked me why Squid Game was so bad… I told him that they consequences of losing a game was death…
When we got home my wife had some fish & chips ready for the kids. Bobby had some of these and some Lance’s crackers and washed it down with pink lemonade.
Bobby acted up in viola/violin class this afternoon, so they did not stop off for a Subway sandwich on the way home.
Guess what we found in the cat’s bed in the basement (see photo to the left). My wife said she wants to keep it around as they will kill and eat snakes.
I had a discussion with Katie this evening about finding new friends. She doesn’t want to bother Ms. Fox, her social studies teacher, so I offered to talk to her… She agreed, so the first step is to send her an email…
