Day #4456 (Sat., Mar. 19, 2022) – Viola/Violin Recital

My wife went to Trader Joe’s early this morning to pick up some flowers for the kids’ viola/violin teacher, as they are having a recital this morning.  Both kids did great.  Katie I think had the best performance of anyone as she can make that viola sing…

After the recital we had another group skating lesson (see photo to the left).  The lessons are getting harder as each week the kids learn new skills.

On the way home we stopped off at Chick Fil A to get the kids some food.  Katie had the chicken burger meal, and Bobby had a kid’s meal, and they shared half & half.  We then went back to the viola/violin teacher’s house as Katie left her purse behind.

Bobby had another playdate with Cal this afternoon.  He was there for hours.  It’s good for Bobby to have a friend in the neighborhood.  Cal’s parents have expressed how Cal has had a difficult time finding friends, so I know that they are happy to have Bobby here as well.

I sent an email to Katie’s social studies teacher this evening to get advice on how Katie can find some good friends.
